My New Favorite Caricaturist <3

I met Anthony Geoffroy once over coffee *naaaaah I am kidding* I saw his amazing work while I was browsing randomly through DeviantArt

I was amazed by his talent, his caricatures are sooooooooooo funny and real. He also paints, and designs characters & logos.

Birthday Surpriiiiiiiiiiise XD

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Last Thursday my team wanted to surprise me with an early birthday party , but I ended up surprising them because I left early hahahahahahaha

I came to work today finding lots of ballons taped to my desk, having absolutely no clue what’s going on, until my collegue Carol told me the story hehe

OMG I totally ruined that for them *comeon I didn’t know*

Thanks team *widest grin ever* I can’t believe I missed my surprise party

any way we still managed to celebrate next day *LAMO*

p.s. my bday is on the 31st of December

The day I wrote my first poem, well not really XD

I have always been a poem fan, I love reading, saving, and quoting them <3

I once decided that I want to write a poem back when I was in highschool, so I locked myself inside my room and sticked “Do Not Disturb” note on the door

I sat down with what seemed like a stack of 1000 blank A4 papers, and a pen and jotted down my first word “a7bk” which means I love you ..

hmm.. I was trying to squeeze my brain to spit out more words but I couldn’t it was just hard *sobs*

I remained like that for nearly 1 or 2 hrs *sigh* but then *suspense music in the background* I had an inspiration, a strong one, can’t really explain how or why, and I wrote the best poem ever , I am not bragging my first poem was the BEST !!!

I was so thrilled and wanted to run to my dad and give him my poem, but before that I read it again in order to make sure that it’s flawless <3

While I was reading, I was like: “damn I’m good, ops hold on a sec! why does this poem sound familiar? where did I hear those words before??????”
I Suddenly burst out laughing hahaha XD it turned out that the poem I thought I wrote was actually a song hahahahahahahaha

I am so glad I decided to read it before giving it to dad, I can totally imagine the look on his face haha

I decided that is going to be my first and only poem writing experience EVER lol

Nouf, the radio show host wannabe :p

well, as far as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a presenter, not TV but Radio *grin* my mum keeps telling me that I used to walk around the house carrying the remote control or my hair brush as a mic lol

I also remember having my own walkman, and loads of empty cassettes, and I used to record my voice reading almost anything, the newspaper, a magazine, my mum’s pregnancy book, Majed magazine, and Micky magazine lol

I don’t think I have any of these cassettes now, maybe they got lost when we moved to the new house *sniff*

anyhow, it was my dream to become a radio presenter, and everyone, including my mum, sisters, dad, my teacher, told me that I do have a unique talent

but then I grew up and totally forgot about my childhood dream, instead I studied Business Management, which I also like <3

I remember clearly listening to Mona Khalil the host of “Nashedek bta9wetek“, and whispering to myself, God I want to be doing the same, I recall sending her an sms saying I want to be a presenter lol

el mohim, I worked after graduation, and at the UAE Career Fair 2008, I was managing my company’s stand. One day I arrived early and decided to take a walk with my collegue Amna, we passed by the Arabian Radio Network stand, and I told Amna about my dream lol she was like go apply for a job there, get closer to your dream.

So I went and spoke with the CEO of ARN, and told him that my sister would love to be a radio presenter, focus on the word sister hahah, so he said: ok let her come now and record something, so I was like NOW? he said yes lol then I told him hang on I’ll go get her loooooooool

I went back to our stand and told Amna: forget about it, I’m too shy to go back, so Amna & Moza at that time kept pushing me to go back, and they told me that I’ve got nothing to lose

so I went back to the CEO, Ma7mood, and the following conversation took place:

Me: Mr. Ma7mood do u remember when I told u that my sister wants to become a presenter

Ma7mood: yes I do is she here?

Me: actually, ermm … it’s …

Ma7mood: it’s not ur sister, it’s u right haha

Me: yeah hehe *gaf6ah*

So I went and recorded some news and other stuff

Time passed and I totally forgot about the above, not untill I received a phone call from a voice I immediatly recognized, it was the amazing radio presenter of Al Khalijiyah, M7md Salim

He told me I was chosen among few others to get a show of my own, so I need to go record more stuff in order to narrow their decision, they will only choose ONE !

I went there and while I was recording, M7mad Salim told me that he wont call the others, he found the one, and that one was MEEEEEEEE *dancing around*

So I became a part-time radio presenter, and I went live on air for the first time last Ramadan *aww* I had my own show and it was called: e7na wento, it means us & u :p

I wasn’t only presenting, the show was completely prepared, presented, and directed by moi ^^

It was the best Ramadan ever, but after that I had to leave them because of my other demanding job requirements *sniff again*

the good news is that the FM channel wants me back, and they are willing to offer me a weekend show, should I go for it or not?
